Pretty Nails

So forgetting about christmas for a moment I decided to do a very simple yet pretty nail. I designed this look myself so I'm gunna take credit this time!!!

You will need:

  • Cocktail stick (my nail art fav tool)
  • Pink nail varnish
  • Black nail varnish
  • Diamonte's (optional)
  • Clear coat

The picture didn't take very well but never mind!

The first step is to do 2 coats of the pink nail varnish
Then pour some of the black nail varnish onto a piece of paper and dip the cocktail stick into the polish, make sure there is a lot of polish on the stick!
Make a swirly pattern by making close dots until it looks like a smooth swirl
Then finish with a clear coat

Optional:
Again I do like my glitz and sparkle so if you want added glamor then you can add diamontes on the tip of the swirls by sticking them on with false nail glue.

Seasonal Snowmen Nails

Being in a christmasy mood I decided to try something new and do snowmen nails that look adorable, I got the idea from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcrLbYZhAf0 I have used her tutorial to do my nails, however I didn't use professional tools and my nails look a bit more messy than hers!

So what you need is:
  • Cotton bud
  • Cocktail sticks
  • Black nail varnish
  • Orange nail varnish
  • White nail varnish
  • Clear sparkly nail varnish (optional, not very visible!)
  • Clear coat nail varnish\
Here is a pic of my nails

The first step is to paint your nail with 2 coats of white nail polish
Step 2 is to pour some black nail polish onto a piece of paper and dip the cotton bud into it, then press onto your nail to make eyes
Step 3 is to dip your cocktail stick into the black and dot on a mouth
Step 4 is to pour out some orange nail polish and dip the cocktail stick into the varnish and make a triangle for the nose
These are some optional steps;
You can finish with a sparkly clear coat or just a normal clear coat and if you want to be extra festive you can add some rhinestones and glitter for added GLITZ!!!
